This stereo does not have a CD player. Instead the faceplate flips down to reveal a storage area where you can plug in your iPod or MP3 player. The iPod or MP3 player is completely protected from the elements! This unit will play MP3, WMA and AAC digital music files directly from an MP3 player or Flash drive connected via the USB port inside the storage area. Also, it will play music from and recharge an iPod connected via the 30 pin connector also available inside the storage compartment.
