This unit consists of the black box only. You will need a wired remote control in order to use this unit: MC-19, MC-18, or REM-45
Sirius-Ready AM/FM Receiver. This unit does not have it's own built in CD Player, however you can connect your iPod or MP3 player via the USB port. The unit will control the iPod or MP3 player (song selection, etc.) and recharge it when connected, or you can simply download your songs to the hard drive from your iPod or MP3 player, disconnect and just listen to them from the hard drive
